Want A Winning Social Media Strategy?

No matter where you are on your business journey, social media can be a powerful free tool to help you get your work in front of more people.

Ahhhh social media…you love it. You hate it. I get it. As a professional social media strategist and manager, I could go ON AND ON about the many ways to approach it, but I’ve tried to narrow it down to just 5 tips:

1. Start with a Strategy

This might sound obvious, but having a strategy behind what you post is crucial. It helps you think deeply about your goals and ensures that every action aligns with your long-term vision. Whether it's brand awareness or lead generation, each post is a chance to lay another brick in your foundation.

2. Know Your Audience

Understanding your target demographic is key. Research what they're interested in, how they interact with content, and what their behavior patterns are. This knowledge will help you tailor your content to better engage with your audience.

3. Content Planning

Plan the types of content you'll post, whether it's videos, images, or stories. Having a good mix and knowing what works best for your business is essential. Create a content calendar and batch your content to stay organized and stress-free. Grab my free content calendar here that I use for both myself and my clients!

4. Choose the Right Platforms

You don't need to be on every social media platform. Focus on the ones where your audience is most active and where you already have good engagement. Consider platforms that align with your future goals and remember, different platforms have different algorithms. For example, my carousel posts on Instagram right now don’t have as much engagement or views as my reels. However, my photo posts (basically carousel posts) on TikTok do great! Just because something doesn't work on one platform doesn't mean it won't work on another.

5. Measure Your Success

Regularly analyze your posts to see what performs well. Look at engagement, saves, shares, and other metrics. This will help you understand what works and what doesn't, allowing you to refine your strategy over time and not feel as lost or overwhelmed.

And if managing your social media feels IS overwhelming you, I offer comprehensive social media packages that handle everything for you. If you're interested, reply to this email and we can set up a discovery call to discuss how we can work together!

At the end of the day, social media is a supplement to other marketing and advertising efforts you are doing, so have fun with it and don’t be afraid to try something new. 💪

TLDR; Social media is a free, powerful tool to help your business—don’t be afraid to experiment with it! I share 5 helpful tips for starting or growing a strategic, effective social media presence.
