So, how does this work?
The Web Design Experience
Here’s what you can expect each step of the way as my brand design client:
01. Connect + Chat
Fill out my contact form and fill me in on yourself, your business, and your needs. I’ll be in touch with more information and a link to book a complimentary 30 minute discovery call. If we’re a great fit to work together and you’d like to move forward, simply sign and pay your proposal to lock in your spot!
02. Prep + Design
We’ll have a kickoff meeting to get clear on your vision, go over project milestones, and make sure we’re on the same page. You’ll complete a pre-design checklist to make sure I have all the assets I need to get started, and then I’ll dive into designing! Through a collaborative process with 2 robust rounds of revisions, we’ll create and perfect your new website.
03. Launch + Celebrate
After your new design is approved, it’s time to hit ‘publish’ and pour yourself a glass of bubbly—you just leveled up your business! I’ll be around to provide post-launch support for 30 days should any questions or hiccups arise.

How can I be sure I’ll like what you design?
​
My website design package involves a lot of information gathering: notes, conversations, and a pre-design checklist and questionnaire helps me fine tune your vision. We’ll discuss your goals, history, audience, competitors, websites you love (and hate) - and more. Since you’re helping to set those parameters yourself, you can be confident your website will be just right. Your home page is designed first and approved for style and function, so the remainder of your site will be exactly what you envision! Two rounds of revisions are included for fine-tuning. I also suggest looking at my portfolio to get a good sense of my design style!
What platforms do you design on?

I mostly design on Wix, but I have designed a few sites on Squarespace as well. I prefer Wix because it is more easily customizable than Squarespace so I have more freedom in designing. It's also extremely intuitive so if you or your team ever needs to make changes on the site, publish blog posts, and more, you have the ability to do so. If a problem ever occurs with your site, Wix's customer service is excellent and extremely helpful.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?
Yes! 60% of users search the internet via their phone - so mobile sites are extremely important and we want the mobile version to be just as beautiful and functional as the desktop version.
Do you help with SEO?
Yes, I provide basic SEO set-up within the site, like titles and meta descriptions. Your site will be fully optimized for Google indexing. However, advanced SEO is out of my wheelhouse.
What if I need help on my site down the road?

I provide 30 days of support post-launch to make sure everything is smooth-sailing. If later down the road you would like assistance in updating the site, I can provide a site refresh!
We’re not in the same city. Can we still work together?
​
Absolutely. Many of my clients are not local, so I’m adept at managing projects long distance. I think we've all adapted to working remotely as well in one form or another; isn't technology a beautiful thing?!
How do payments work?
​
When you fill out my contact form, I'll be in touch to set up a complimentary 30 minute discovery call. If we're a great fit and you're ready to move forward, I'll send over a proposal and project start date, and you'll pay the deposit to lock in your spot! I typically have two payments, half upfront and half at delivery of final files, but please let me know if another option would work better for you (like 4 payments, for example.)
How will we communicate?

We’ll typically use a combination of Zoom, phone calls and emails throughout the process. I like to Zoom for the kickoff meeting, and a mix of Zoom and short recorded videos are best for the design process.
Can you help me write my website?
​
I don't provide copywriting services, but I can happily point you in the direction of some excellent copywriters if you don't want to write it on your own. Before the project start date, your website copy is due along with any photographs and images you'd like to use on your site.
Looking to have a brand designed, too. Can you help?
​
Absolutely. Along with web design, brand design is my jam! I especially love projects where I am able to pour my creativity into both. Check out my brand design process for more information.
